  There are so many friendly folks that come here, the parking lot has plenty of space most of the day, there is a shelter with washrooms and the lake is great! The washrooms are clean and have been well stocked. There are lots of garbage cans to place your doggy poo bags, empty cans, etc that are never overflowing. I regularly see St. Albert City staff come down to check the place out to see if things need to be emptied, cleaned or restocked. The area is well lit in the evening/night so it's safe to take a stroll. The lake is stocked with trout! This is a highlight for me! The fish are usually smaller but sometimes you catch a big one! There are crawfish along the shore as well. Sadly people dump there goldfish and koi in the lake, hopefully this does not ruin future stocking. The lake isn't super clean, but it is filled with life. The grounds around the lake are beautiful and the fountain in the middle of helps.

  Large open field. Lake access is very nice on hot summer days for the dogs to cool off. No walking trails for off leash and very little shrubbery just an open field.
